Renovation and addition to a small, brick 1951 home. The project included enlarging and renovating the kitchen and adding a mudroom, a family room, and a loft space. The family room opens out onto a stone patio area, creating an outdoor gathering space and access to the garden. Floor to ceiling windows on one side maximize the use of natural light in the space, and an efficient wood-burning stove creates a cozy space in the colder months.
