A new dormitory carefully situated, marking an important corner entry of the Chester campus, and creating a new quadrangle at a crossroads between residential, academic, and recreational facets of the campus. CKd led the design process of this $19 million project which includes the Student Health Center and features modern detailing with referential brick patterning, a multi-story glass lounge space, and a limestone sign wall that marks the corner entry to the campus. The project was completed on a fast-track schedule; students moved in on schedule in late August 2006, a mere 19 months from the competition selection.
