Feasibility Study for the Sciences
Indiana University of Pennsylvania
CKd was tasked to develop a Feasibility Study for the Sciences at IUP. The scope was limited to Weyandt and Walsh halls, though the space study needs includes how any changes/additions to the science program would affect the PASSHE Space allocation guidelines for the whole campus. The goal of this study is to test IUP’s plan to build a new 100,000 sq ft building along with demolishing Walsh and renovating Weyandt halls for an approximate total of 260,00 gsf. In addition, the study ascertains the proper program, size, location and identity for the future of science education at Indiana University.
