The 97 room Mielparque Resort Hotel, adjacent to Nikko National Park, site of ancient Buddhist and Shinto shrines, was designed by VSBA.  The custom designed carpets, draperies, wall coverings and bed spreads were made to reference traditional Japanese indigo textiles.
