This light filled 2 bedroom house was designed and built for an empty nester couple and features a tall living room volume with high windows and a roof deck (with views to the river) accessed from the bedroom. The library space overlooks the living room and has a pull-out couch for grandkids. The kitchen was situated so that it has direct access to the garage and rear yard screened porch. CKd carefully designed the house so that the kitchen received winter sun despite being on the north side of the property. Neighborhood kids have given the house its name.
